TPG is seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager for our Michigan operations.  We offer our people a challenging and rewarding culture defined by our employees and our shared attitudes.

The Account Manager provides the first line operations support for deployed employees at client accounts, manages the operational relationship with the clients and is responsible for ensuring harmonious employee relations and first-class customer service

Duties include:

  • Manage the operations relationship between TPG and client accounts
  • Respond to and manage client operating activity requests and concerns
  • Respond to and manage deployed employees and their issues and concerns
  • Maintain regular and frequent presence at client sites
  • Monitor and manage deployed employee status and performance
  • Monitor, manage and promote safety programs
  • Handle initial incident/accident reporting and investigation, corrective action follow up
  • Monitor and assess position descriptions, classifications and adjustments
  • Maintain close relationship with all TPG departments
  • Identify opportunities to expand within existing client base
  • Work with VP, Bus Dev on project activities and identify expansion opportunities
  • Source and recruit candidates in support of the Recruiting department when required

Required Experience:

  • Operations, HR and employee relations knowledge
  • Sales and business development experience a plus
  • Must have excellent management and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to work with multiple individuals of an organization to ensure client needs/projects are being met
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
  • Committed to customer service as job 1
  • Must be a team player
  • Recruiting industry and automotive industry experience preferred


Education (or equivalent knowledge and experience):

  • Degree in Engineering / Automotive / Business Admin or related fields
