Job Description
Pulling Tires
Operation Rules to Follow
1.1         Perform the daily maintenance check on the Order Picker.
1.2         Tire movements are removed from the tray slot in the warehouse and the operator travels via Order Picker to the slot location where the tire is listed to be.
1.3         Operator must react to "RUSH" movements as instructed and categorized in tray slot.
1.4         Operator must complete tire order. Do not split order with other operators.
1.5         While pulling a ship-to movement, do not pull two movements at a time.  You may pull more than one tire movement going to the same department. This is to lower the risk of service failures.
 
Operation
2.1         At the location look for the tire identification serial number label on the tread.
2.2         All tires must be scanned at time of pulling to insure accuracy.  
2.3         Verify the serial number with the tire movement form and place the tire on the picker.
2.4         Mark the tire number off the Tire movement by putting a mark through its location.
2.5         Proceed with the next tire and following the above steps.
2.6         Put counted number of tires, time complete, date, and Operator initials at the bottom of the page after all the tires on that sheet have been pulled. 
PULLING - Operation and Staging for Departments
When all tires have been pulled on the Tire movement, the tires are placed on the appropriate pallets/carts for delivery and the tire movement is placed with the tires. 
 
*NOTE* When an individual's tasks are completed in an area it is important to move to areas of need. , Scrap Inventory, Pulling, Putaway, or taking over for another operator so they can complete training or help in other areas.
End of day duties include updating efficiency spreadsheet and completing cleaning checklist.
Accuracy is most important in all functions

SCRAPPING  Operation
              Tires going to SCRAP are placed in a designated trailer after DENATURED, making tires unrepairable manually or mechanically.

Job Description
Putaway Tire Operation
1.1  Perform daily maintenance check on the order picker.
1.2  Tires that are designated for Putaway are visually noted.
1.3  Load Pickers with tires designated to be putaway.
1.4  Find open locations and update tire where tire has been placed on warehouse software program.
1.5  Repeat 1.3 through 1.5 until all available tires have been stored.
*NOTE* When an individual's tasks are completed in an area it is important to move to areas of need. , Scrap Inventory, Pulling, Putaway, or taking over for another operator so they can complete training or help in other areas.
End of day duties include updating efficiency spreadsheet and completing cleaning checklist.
